Milton's Mountain Realty has been doing real estate business in the Ellijay, Georgia area for 30 plus years. We are a small realtor dealing mostly in acreage and specializing in the Whitepath Golf Club where we develop and sell lots. Ray Milton, broker, is a native of Gilmer County and opened his first office near the Ellijay square in 1970 under the name of Milton Land Company which eventually developed into Milton's Mountain Realty, Inc. Ann Ferris has worked with Ray for more than 20 years. One of our best services is acting as "buyers' agents" in order to assist those to find just the perfect property.

Ellijay is located in north Georgia in the Blue Ridge Mountain Foothills. National Forest and Preserve areas comprise almost 2/3 of the county. This plus the beautiful streams, blue mountains, and forests give one the feeling of truly being in the old-time mountains. Ellijay attracts many from the more populated areas all over the country, especially in the South and enjoys 4 distinct seasons while being spared the intensity of Northern winters and Southern heat. Gilmer County is the apple capitol of Georgia, and Atlanta is about 1 hour away. A large mall is being built along Highway 515 so shopping is no longer a "hassle." Three large lakes are within 30 minutes; numerous large trout streams available for fishing (some suitable for rafting and canoeing) and beautiful blue mountain views are just about everywhere throughout the county.
